You are a square. I am an egg head.

J: You never cease to amaze me, T. Was this guy trying to blend in with the wall art??? Another good story you have I’m assuming! I’m currently wondering what he was listening to. Maybe he was jamming out to The Who in preparation for today’s big superbowl halftime show- like Teenage Wasteland or something. ;o) So I love our contrasting shapes here. I think it represents us though, don’t you. You’re such a square and I’m kind of an Egg-head. So this was my first attempt at ever making hard-boiled eggs. And yes, I realize you can’t really refer to boiling an egg as “making” them, because what are you really making after all? All one has to do is heat up water to a temperature of that which is boiling (100 degrees celsius fyi) and let the eggs have a little bit of a hot-tubbing session and then… POW! You have boiled eggs. Well, I now have full respect for anyone that knows how to prepare hard-boiled eggs because I failed miserably at my first attempt. I thought the eggs were ready, went to crack it open to have a taste and SPLAT! All over my kitchen counter. I guess I struggle with the concept of boiling water. Sorry Miss Combs, I have not represented our 7th grade home-ec class very well.

This is another photo from the SFMOMA freeday. There were so many people walking around the exhibits today it was almost overwhelming to take photos. People were always walking in front of the camera at the exact moment I snapped the shutter. I was lucky in this instance because this man had been walking around and I noticed his shirt and then later found the painting. I sleuthely followed him for a bit hoping he would wander in front of this painting. Color pattern perfection. On a side note, I love SFMOMA.
